This workshop is designed for developers who want to learn everything they need to know to leverage Microsoft Azure as the target platform for their container-based and serverless applications.

The participants will first have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all the technologies and concepts that underlie the cloud-native application development framework, also known as microservices architecture. They will then learn how to create Docker containers, set up Kubernetes clusters in their Azure subscription, deploy containerized applications to various container services on Azure, and implement APIs for queue/publish-subscribe communication and initial serverless applications.
